How much does it cost to join ACTIVEBUYS?

Do I have to refer other people so I can get the deal?

Not at all, however, if you do refer 10 people, you will a FREE deal (up to a $75 value)! All they have to do is enter your email address (that you used to JOIN) when they sign-up!

 
 

Do I have to read the fine print?

YES – this is the most important section to read. Please make sure to check the Fine Print prior to making any purchase. We would hate for you to purchase a deal that doesn’t work for you. Be sure to check all locations valid for redemption, expiration dates, limit purchases, and any other restrictions. Unless otherwise stated in the deal’s Fine Print, all deals are subject to ACTIVEBUYS’ universal restrictions: Not valid for cash back (unless required by law), entire value must use in one visit, doesn't cover tax or gratuity, can't be combined with other offers or promotions, and restaurant coupons are valid toward alcohol unless the fine print states otherwise.

 
 

How long does a deal run?

Each deal usually runs for six consecutive days or until it sells out. This gives you time to share with your friends and get everyone to try the deal together! Look in the More Deals section to see all of the deals featured.

 
 

How do I buy the deal?

Simply click the "BUY NOW" button before the offer ends. Enter your information and we’ll process everything. You must create an My ACTIVEBUYS account before you can buy a deal.

 
 

Can I buy a voucher as a gift?

Yes. Unless otherwise stated, you can purchase the same quantity as gifts as the individual limit and vouchers can always be gifted or transferred even if the voucher is in your name. To have ACTIVEBUYS send the gift, just select the gift option at checkout. During the checkout process you can indicate whether you want to print the voucher yourself or have us email the voucher to the recipient.

 
 

What if I want to choose another non-profit other than the featured non-profit?

During the checkout process, in the Choose a Non-Profit to Benefit click on Change and you will be able to pick your favorite non-profit from our list of partners.

 
 

What payment methods do you accept and is it secure?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, and yes, your information is safe and sound. If you choose to save your payment information during the checkout process, it is encrypted and stored on our credit card processor’s servers, not on ACTIVEBUYS.com.

 
 

When can I use my voucher?

You can usually use your voucher the day immediately following the deal closing through the specified expiration date, but make sure to check the Fine Print for exceptions.

 
 

How do I use my voucher?

Once you have purchased the deal, you will receive an email with your voucher. All that’s left is to take it to redeem and enjoy!

 
 

When does my voucher expire?

Please make sure to check the Fine Print for the deal and make sure to use your voucher prior to the stated expiration date.

 
 

What happens if the provider goes out of business?

We work hard to partner with the best providers in town. However, if one should fall on hard times and go out of business, simply contact us and we will refund your purchase.

 
 

Why can’t I login?

First, check to make sure that your password is correct. If during the password reset process you get a message saying “Enter Correct Email Address,” check your email address. If that doesn’t work, you likely need to create an account. For all those who signed up to receive ACTIVEBUYS' emails prior to our launch, you will need to create an account prior to making your first purchase. To create your My ACTIVEBUYS account, click on the green “JOIN” button, enter your name, email and password, and activate your account by clicking on the link in confirmation email.

 
 

How do I change my personal information?

Once you have logged-in, click on the My ACTIVEBUYS green button in the top right corner. From there you can change your name, email and password. To change your payment information, you can do that during the checkout process.

 
 

How do I view my past purchases?

In the My ACTIVEBUYS section, you can view your past purchases and even print your vouchers, including gift purchases.

 
 

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, simply click the Forgot Password? Link from the Login page. We will then reset your password and send you an email with more instructions.

 
 

Is my browser supported?

Our site was tested with current versions of the most prevalent browsers (Chrome, IE7 and above, Safari, Firefox); however, we are unable to support issues with older browser versions which include Internet Explorer 6 or earlier. If trying a different browser doesn't fix your issue, and you cannot complete you purchase, email us at support@activebuys.com.
